Guests staying at the hotel will enjoy a homemade breakfast unique to Hakata, and creative cuisine made with plenty of seafood from Kyushu and other carefully selected ingredients for lunch and dinner. Chefs who have trained at famous Japanese restaurants will be showing off their skills. In addition to seasonal banquet courses, we also offer authentic Japanese kaiseki meals.
We also offer a wide range of menu items that are unique to Shogetsutei and cannot be found anywhere else.

    Special sesame sauce sea bream chazuke

    The sea bream caught in the Genkai Sea in Kyushu is marinated in Godamare while still fresh, allowing the flavors to soak in for a taste that is the work of a master chef.
    You can also enjoy it as sea bream chazuke by pouring Takumi dashi stock over it.

Recommended Japanese Sake

At Kaisendokoro Shogetsutei, we mainly stock local sake (Fukuoka) but also brands from neighboring areas such as Saga, Kumamoto, and Yamaguchi. A variety of fine sakes to complement our cuisine. Each is available in sizes starting from 180ml, so you can enjoy a variety to suit your taste.

  • Tanaka Rokugo
    (Shiraito Sake Brewery, Fukuoka)

    This pure rice sake is made using only Yamadanishiki rice from Itoshima and is polished to 65%.

  • Nabeshima Junmai Ginjo
    (Saga: Fukuchiyo Sake Brewery)

    Saga sake is characterized by its rich sweetness that comes from the rice. Nabeshima's signature Junmai Ginjo sake.

  • Souyou Special Pure Rice Sake Dry
    (Tochigi: Souyou Sake Brewery)

    This pure rice sake has a wide range of flavors thanks to the umami of the rice itself, and is dry but not too spicy.
